Retro AI Tracker
About Retro AI Tracker
Retro AI Tracker is an independent fan site that tracks AI coding tools: versions, changelogs, status, limits and resets, from original sources.
Our core beat is AI coding tools: Codex and Claude news, usage resets and release notes, plus short write-ups of the wider AI news around them. Everything links to its original sources.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Tibo or Microsoft. Product names belong to their owners and are used only to describe the news.
What you will find here
News: selected announcements from the official X accounts we follow, summarised in one line and linked to the original post.
Usage resets: a dated log of Codex and Claude reset announcements and completion reports, with a counter that only moves when an original post reports a completed reset.
Releases: every stable Codex CLI and Claude Code release from GitHub, with a short summary and a link to the official notes.
Blog: original explainers of AI news. Every factual claim links to a source, and quotes are short excerpts linked to their originals.
Computer mode
Retro AI Tracker (formerly Retro AI News) started as MYPC98, a retro computer: a desktop with windows, a big reset button, a community inbox, lo-fi radio and games. It is still here as an optional computer mode. When you boot it you choose the Codex98 or Claude98 desktop; the website itself never asks which tool you use.
Who runs Retro AI Tracker
Retro AI Tracker (MYPC98) is run by an independent website operator, not by any AI company. The operator's details and the ways to reach them are on the Contact page. We do not access anyone's account, and nothing here changes your personal limits.
Operator: Marcin Tyc. Contact details.
