Free JSON API for Codex & Claude usage resets

The full history behind our reset tracker as JSON, for bots, dashboards, status lines and research. No key, no sign-up, no cookies. Any site may call it from the browser (CORS is open), and responses are cached for five minutes.

Endpoints

GET https://retroaitracker.com/api/public/resets/codex
GET https://retroaitracker.com/api/public/resets/claude

Both return the same shape. Only GET is supported; please keep polling to once every few minutes, since the data changes a few times a week at most.

basis is reported when the original post itself said the reset was done, and confirmed when an announced reset was later confirmed in a separate post (then at is the confirmation time). Times without a known hour have dayOnly: true.

Entry labels

Completed
An original post says the reset is done, or a later post confirmed an announced reset.
Reset report
An original post reports that limits were reset, without a separate follow-up.
Announced
A reset was announced or planned but not reported as done. Never moves lastCompletedReset.
Banked reset
A reset you can redeem yourself (for example Claude's “Reset for free”). Logged, not counted.
Update
A reminder or other context, such as a redemption deadline.
Limit update
A change to the limits themselves rather than a reset.

Only Completed and Reset report entries count as resets. The rules are on how we verify.
