What Meta says it's for

Meta's model page pitches Muse Wonder at frontier coding, long-running agents and advanced computer use: it plans long tasks, delegates to sub-agents, calls tools in parallel and recovers from errors. The newsroom post highlights Active Memory, which carries context across conversations, and Active Focus, which keeps the model working toward a goal and checking in before important actions. Meta says the models were released under its Meta Superintelligence Scaling Framework and that a full safety report is coming. Meta says Muse Wonder will soon power experiences in its Muse app, rolling out to subscribers first.

Independent benchmarks

  • Artificial Analysis reported a score of 52 on its Intelligence Index (12 Oct 2026).
  • Results from open datasets (Arena, Epoch AI) appear on our benchmarks page once those projects have tested it.

How to use it

  • Meta Model API: call muse-wonder-1.0 pay-as-you-go. Meta's quickstart says you can point an existing OpenAI SDK-compatible client at the API. On the API it's available in Standard mode only.
  • Muse Code: available on pay-as-you-go and on every subscription plan, including the $5 Everyday Usage plan, in Standard or Contributor mode.
  • Setting reasoning effort to max on Muse Wonder doesn't switch you to Muse Wonder Full, per Meta's model docs.
  • Meta's model page also lists OpenRouter as a way to use Muse Wonder.

Questions

What's the difference between Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full?
Muse Wonder Full is the higher-capability variant. Muse Wonder is on the Meta Model API and in Muse Code. Wonder Full is only in Muse Code on the Power Usage ($50) and Maximum Usage ($200) plans, with no per-token price.
Does Meta train on what I send to Muse Wonder?
In Standard mode, Meta says your content isn't used to train its models. Muse Code subscriptions default to Contributor mode, which gives more usage in exchange for training on your content. You can turn it off in settings.
Is Muse Wonder in the Muse app?
Not at launch. Meta said on 12 October 2026 that Muse Wonder will soon power experiences in Muse, rolling out to subscribers first.
