Anthropic releases a Claude for Nonprofits plugin built with about 30 nonprofits

The plugin adds skills and connectors for fundraising, marketing, hiring and board work, and helps teams set Claude up with their own context and AI policy. Anthropic says more than 25,000 nonprofits now use Claude.

On 26 October 2026 Anthropic released the Claude for Nonprofits plugin, a set of skills and connectors built with a design group of about 30 nonprofits. It covers three areas: setting Claude up with an organization's records and its own AI policy, fundraising from funder research and grant proposals to reports and donor updates, and everyday work such as marketing campaigns, job posts, onboarding and board preparation.

Anthropic says more than 25,000 nonprofits now use Claude, and over 75% of them have fewer than 10 Claude seats. Claude for Nonprofits launched last December with discounts of up to 75%. Nonprofit plans now include the same models as standard Team and Enterprise plans and Claude Code at no extra cost, and since September verified nonprofits in low- and middle-income countries get a discount of about 90%, which brings standard Team seats to $3 per user per month.

Anthropic also plans to extend Claude Corps, its program placing early-career fellows in US nonprofits, through a partnership with Taproot that would match nonprofits with pro bono consultants. Two webinars for admins and staff are scheduled for 10 and 12 November.
